The bike has the 4 hole sprocket, the blade type forks, coaster brake, s-2 wheels. My question is does anyone have an idea as to which model string-ray this might have been? and is there any dimensions I should check to verify this is a full size frame. The Frame has the stays for mount caliber brakes on both front forks and rear frame(looks the same as the white frame in this post). Today I pick up a late 1980 frame MR******, a complete bicycle. I had an Orange krate when I was 10, it was stolen. The Krate series of bikes came out in 1968 under the Sting-Ray name and originally included the Apple Krate, Orange Krate, and Lemon Peeler. I just got interested in the Schwinn Sting-Ray and Krates bicycles again.
